Today’s card is featured over at Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration and features a fun photo inspiration challenge!
I decided to take the colors from the photo and run… I saw a great card online where they embossing silver paper to create a tin ceiling look. I loved the idea so I adapted it to my card. The Hardwood Embossing Folder was the perfect choice. Next I made my butterfly. I played around with all my blues until I found a combination that I really liked. For an extra pop, I added a die cut small butterfly in gold. Perfect! Layering the butterfly on top of a piece of Mint Maracon DSP and a punched sentiment finished my card.
