Welcome to the Fun n’ Crafty Blog Hop for November. This month’s theme is Christmas cards. Have you seen the new Stitched Shapes Framelits? They are a great addition to Stampin’ Up’s framelits. I bought mine last week and they arrived on Monday, just in time for me to use them for today’s card.
For my card, I wanted to go simple but play with shapes and patterns. I layered a couple different patterns from the Warmth and Cheer DSP stack to create my background. From there, I layered some ovals framelits to create the nice center of my card. Note the fun stitching around my sentiment! To finish off the card, I added some metallic thread behind my sentiment and and a few gold enamel shapes.
