Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to CASE a card from one of the Stampin’ Up catalogs. I chose to recreate this fun card:
I love the different colored markers used to make the sentiment. I love the multiple layers of embellishments. So, I pulled out my current SU color markers and picked a fun, but different color combination. I went with Watermelon Wonder; Dapper Denim, and Delightful Dijon. I have to admit that Delightful Dijon isn’t one of my favorite colors, but I think it looks really nice with these other two colors. After recreating the sentiment, I had fun pulling papers and embellishments from my stash. My card isn’t an exact CASE. I love taking the basic idea of the example card and putting my own touches to it!
