I wanted to use my ridiculous stash of washi tape for some kind of card, but I couldn’t figure out what exactly. So I covered a sheet of white cardstock with strips of washi and started cutting things out. This card was the result of one of my experiments. I love how the washi creates it’s own DSP to be the focal point. I kept my sentiment simple and added an embossed layer for texture.
I made a variation with a different color scheme:
- Stamps: A Merry Hello
- Ink: Real Red; Cherry Cobbler
- Cardstock: Real Red; Cherry Cobbler; Pear Pizzazz; Just Jade
