Books I Gave Up On (0)
Books Bought/Received (5)
For my BOTM selection, I had to choose Babel by RF Kaung. It’s a book club choice for February and I’m very excited to read it.
During our book club exchange, I received Wake Siren by Nina McLaughlin. Very intrigued by this Ovid retelling.
For the Book Flood exchange, I received a copy of Broken by Jenny Lawson (already read, but wanted a physical copy) and Little Prisons by Ilona Bannister.
Had to stop in at Barnes & Noble for their 50% off all hardcovers sale. I grabbed The Night Ship by Jess Kidd, The Last Graduate by Naomi Novak, and A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers (already read this one, but wanted a physical copy).

Movies watched
- Christmas with You - I like the female lead, but her and the male lead have absolutely no chemistry what so ever!
- Get Carter - Classic Michael Caine. Very violent, I actually enjoyed it.
- Bullit - Never saw this classic Steve McQueen movie. Enjoyed it.
- The Misfits - Terribly boring…
- Glass Onion - Not quite as good as the first movie, but still very entertaining.
- Harry Potter 20th Anniversary - Very delightful.
- Artemis Fowl - My mom’s selection. Pretty decent kid action film.
- Something from Tiffany’s - Very cute holiday romance.
TV Shows watched
- Leverage Redemption S1 and S2
- Below Deck
- Mythic Quest S3
- Staged S3 - Utterly delightful. We binged it in just three days.
Comments - Ended the year with a very strong reading month. In fact, I had my highest reading month of the year. I always love finishing out my year with some light Christmas romance and I definitely delivered on this year’s plan. Now I turn to 2023’s plans.
